Bhutan, 2009 May 17th till May 29th.
Favoured by me and perfect organised by Karma of Jeroma Tours - a specific adventure: Two weeks on the way to experience and practise way of life of Bhutanese people! We took part in Buddhist ceremonies in private house holds, in temples and outdoor at an altitude of about 4000 metres. We stayed over in a farm house and in a monastery. We hiked into remote areas, visited local people there and took part in their life. Beside of many many highlights I want to mention one especially - Khewang Lhakhang, a temple in Phobjika valley. We spent half a day together with about 20 very young monks and their young Lama. We really impressed and inspired. We decided to give our support to this temple and residents in future.
This was my third trip (second trip of my wife) to Bhutan and I will come back in 2010 together with friends. Thank you Karma for beautiful adventure and give our best greetings to all Bhutanese people. Tashi Delek, Frieder + Claudia!

Wir sind zurück von einer wunderbaren Reise quer durch Bhutan von Paro nach Samdrup Jongkhar.Dank Karma,der mit großer Bereitschaft auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen ist,war es ein unvergeßliches Erlebnis.Angefangen vom Tigernest,(das ich grösstenteils auf Pferderücken erstiegen habe)ueber Tshechu-Fest in Paro,Hot-stone Bad im Phobjikha Tal,das Gästehaus im schoenen Bumthang-Tal gab es viele Hoehepunkte,nicht zuletzt die wunderbaren Picknicks am Flussufer und Kinobesuch in Thimpu!Und natuerlich Tashi unserem Fahrer bebuehrt ein grosses Lob.Er hat uns durch seine ruecksichtsvolle und umsichtige Fahrweise bei den vielen,vielen Kurven und steilen Abhaengen immer ein sicheres Gefuehl gegeben.Heidi,Katharina,Xaver ,Anna und Johannes

Wir kommen soeben von einer Reise nach Bhutan zurück und sind begeistert von diesem Land, seinen Menschen und seiner Kultur. Die Reise wurde von Karma perfekt organisiert und mit Chencho hatten wir einen deutschsprachigen Führer, was uns sehr wichtig war, der uns Kultur und Leben in seinem Lande bestens vermitteln konnte. Dorji, unser Fahrer, steuerte und sicher und zuverlässig über die gewundenen Straßen, so dass wir unbeschwert die grandiose Natur geniessen konnten.
Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und wir bedanken uns bei Karma und seinem Team.

Es war eine zauberhafte Reise durch ein wunderbares Land. Dazu beigetragen haben Karma und Tashi mit ihrer Erfahrung und den freundschaftlichen Umgang mit uns und allen anderen Menschen die wir begegnet sind. Die auswahl der Hotels, das Essen und die gesamte Organisation hat einfach gepasst. Karma hat alles erdenkliche gemacht um für uns diese Reise unvergesslich zu machen. Selbst das super Wetter hat er irgendwie hin bekommen. Tashi, unser Fahrer, hat uns immer sicher von einem Schlagloch zum nächsten gebracht.
Wirklich ein tolles Land mit tollen Menschen.

We visit Bhutan last October for abut two weeks. The whole trip was an amazing time for all of us. It was perfectly organized by Karma. We had the possibility to participate to various Teschus and to trek through the beautiful landscape for Bhutan for abut 5 days. But the most I like about Bhutan are the people. All of us had done a lot of travelling over the years but Bhutan was someting special. Karma and Tashi, our drive, both become friends. We spend a lot of time together and got a lot of detailed insights into living in Bhutan. Karma and Tashi have so many knowledges and stories which they share with you. Whenever we will have the opportunity to come back to Bhutan (and we will definitely) Karma will be our choice again. Whenever looking through the picture we have taken we remember the smiling Karma and the honestly Tashi. When you plan to visit the "last kingdom of the Himalaya", contacting Karma is the best choice to make. Send him greeting from Claudia, Udo, Dagmar and Manni.

This was a really great trip! Karma organised my journey very good. I really enjoyed the time with him and his colleagues, who all were very nice, helfpul and knowledgable and continuously answered all the many questions I had. I had a lot of fun, but also a lot of special moments in the monasteries. The highlight of my tour was a three-day-trekking, during which I had the opportunity to stay in a farmhouse and a monastery and got a deeper insight into the life in Bhutan. Thanks to all the translations of my guide I had the chance to talk more intensively to the local people, which was a very special and great experience for me. Second time in Bhutan, second time on the way with Jeroma Tours & Travels, second time a great and successful tour. We are enthused, thank you Karma Tenzing including your grand team.
We stayed together with Karma and his team from April 28th till May 16th. It was a really great time.
14 days we spent for our trekking tour, started in Damji via Gasa, Laya, Chebisa, Lingshi, Jangothang to Drugyel Dzong.
We crossed over many beautiful passes, such as Sinche La, Jhari La or Bhonte La. We visited some beautiful mountain villages like Laya or Chebisa with very kindly and nice people. We experienced a fantastic nature with an impressed botanical- and animal world, we never seen such one before (e.g. rhododendrons). Our companions: Phurba the cook, Vinzent/Dorji/Kezang the assistents, all horse men and Karma naturally done a 100% perfect job.
Beside of trekking tour we visited Punakha, the capital Thimphu and Paro. Karma guided us to temples, dzongs and other places of interest. Finally we visited the most famous monument in Bhutan-Tiger's Nest Monastry- again and we were impressed again.

Meine Reise nach Bhutan im Feb.08,diemir Karma organisiert hat war fantastisch.Er ist nicht nur ein liebenswerter,vertrauenswürdiger Führer,sondern ein äußerst kundiger Kenner der Kultur seines Landes.Sein Fahrer und auch sein Assistent Rinzen sind nur zu loben.Jeder,der mit Karma eine Reise bucht kann ihm blindlings vertrauen auch was die Überweisung der Reisekosten betrifft.Ich kannJeroma Tours für eine Bhutan Reise nur wärmstens empfelen.

Unsere zweiwöchige Reise im Dezember 07 war fantastisch. Karma kennt sich hervorragend in allen Bhutan betreffenden kulturellen und religiösen Themen aus und ist ein begnadeter Geschichtenerzähler (besonders nach ein paar Gläsern Reiswein). Er hat sich rührend um unser leibliches Wohl gekümmert und große Sensibilität gezeigt, wenn jemandem mal unwohl war. Die Organisation der Reise war perfekt und sehr individuell. Ich habe große Lust, nochmal nach Bhutan zu kommen!

Our trip to Bhutan in october 2007 was a great experience. Everything was perfectly organised. Karma and the other guides, were always friendly and extremely helpful. Especially Karma gave us lots of informations about the country, its people, landscape, history and religion of course. He is a very knowledgeable man and he's got a nice sense of humor, so we laughed with him a lot.
